I’m experimenting with more creative ways to show and tell what I found at the library this week.

Library pickings:
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
2. Surrender by Sonya Hartnett

I’ve flicked through Al Capone Does My Shirts, I was intrigued by the title. Is it any good, then?

The title hooked me too. I haven’t started it yet. I have high hopes on account of the good reviews I read on Amazon.

Lovely layout – every time I visit I am tempted to play with polyvore.com. I’ll be very interested to see what you have to say about Chbosky. He’s become a summer reading list favorite of the local high schools, but I’ve yet to bring myself to actually read Perks and see what all of the excitement is about.

Oooh, I notice you are quite the Twilight fan! I just finished reading book and adored it, Edward Cullen is one sexy vampire, and their romance is so sweet, the story so suspenseful. Unfortunately Borders either does not have the second book at present or is selling it as hardcover for $40, so I’m waiting until the paperback version comes out, but in the meantime I’m reading in snatches in Borders over coffee! =)

PS: Can’t wait for the movie. Robert Pattinson should be awesome.
