About me: Everything you’ll ever want to know about me is hidden in my posts. A book lover knows that much of literature has to do with reading between the lines, so you be the literary detective.
About The Lit Connection: This blog celebrates the world of fiction in all its shapes and forms. In its humble beginning, The Lit Connection was primarily a literature blog, but it has expanded to encompass movies, culture, fashion, photography, history, etc… any form of media in which a good story can be found.
The Lit Connection is a chronicle of culture. This blog is also a personal chronicle of all the things I’m presently interested in and a nostalgic recollection of what I use to be interested in. I chronicle in the hopes that twenty years from now, I can look back through my archives and watch myself grow and evolve. Think of it as a virtual scrapbook.
About Lists: I like to chronicle everything. If you browse through my Page tabs, you’ll discover a massive compilation of all the books I’ve read, books to be read, movies seen, movies to be seen. This is mainly to help me keep track of all the media I’ve encountered. I derive a certain sense of satisfaction in watching my lists grow. What can I say, I like to organize.
On Commenting: I encourage and respect all reader feedback whether they agree with my opinion or not. I only ask that you keep your comments clean (no lewd material) and explicative free. In other words, please refrain from dropping the F-bomb whenever possible unless you absolutely can’t hold it in. However, I have full confidence in my readers’ ability to tip toe around profanities and tell me off in a classier way should they ever forget that this is just a young lady’s blog and not the New Yorker.

Wow! This blog has really turned into something snazzy! I like it!
I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to talk to you in ages. We really need to get together soon! My LJ is less than it should be since I haven’t had the time nor desire to make the layout to my tastes. I’ll send you the link once I have some time to bash in some code. Talk to you soon! When are you done with semester?

Hello!
I googled A Great and Terrible Beauty and got your website. I read several of you posts and I also love the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. I judge a book by its cover as well and found the cover seductive so i read it. I think they may be making a movie! Oh and i looked at your choices for each character and Bravo! Steven Strait would be perfect. He is so hot!

Hi, I was reading some of the things you have said about the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I love this series and was wondering if you knew if there was ever a movie, or mini-series made out of these books? I have been searching google but can not seem to find anything that says yes there was or no there wasn’t. Any help would be very much appreciated!! By the way I like you blog

I also stumbled accidentally on your blog searching Richard Armitage (oh yes baby) and just wanted to say I love it! You give me a good chuckle each and every time and nothing pleases me more than 1. Books 2. All things Romantic 3. Collages 4. Richard Armitage and 5. Wit. So, I’m on board for following your blog… absolute great fun! (And now I’m totally scarred by the Rob-Merman… *shudder*)

You should read “I Capture the Castle” by Dodie Smith. And watch the movie if you haven’t. Judging by your other tastes (which run very parallel to mine!) you would probably love this book! Thanks for the wonderful blog, I love it.

A new fan of your blog! Excellent spirit you have in writing. I also found your blog when I was googling Jamie Fraser when I was bored at work one day. I will seriously consider your book list for by TBR book shelf. So glad I found your blog!
